What We Need
Think for a moment about all the essentials your home needs daily. These same essentials are what keep our orphanage running smoothly, and every bit counts. So, whether you’re cleaning out your pantry, refreshing your home, or simply seeking to make a significant difference, your in-kind donations can mean the world to us.
Consider these items that we regularly need:
- Nutritious non-perishable food items, including boxed meals and canned goods
- Hygiene products, unopened and new, like soap, shampoo, and toothbrushes
- Over-the-counter medications, such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen
- Home goods like towels, sheets, bedspreads, and blankets
- Clothing for children of all ages
- New or lightly used toys
We provide every kid with the utmost respect and dignity, recognizing their inherent worth as children of God. We extend to them the same level of care and consideration that we would expect for ourselves. Therefore, we ensure that the clothing and shoes we offer are of such quality that we would readily wear them ourselves.
By donating items that you no longer need, you help fulfill a need at God’s Support Orphanage Ministry of Uganda. The children, and all of us here at the orphanage, are incredibly grateful for your generosity.
